How do I know if I am eligible?

We have several appointment types which you may easily book online, during the screening process a Cannabis Doctor or Nurse will make sure that medical marijuana is right for you.

What is the first step to obtaining medical cannabis?

The first step to obtaining medical cannabis is to get a medical cannabis certificate. Complete our intake form here so that we can better assist you:

One of our physicians will look over your medical records to determine if medical cannabis is appropriate for your condition. If you do not have medical records or a diagnosis, simply upload a copy of your ID and a patient liaison will reach out to you for more information. Certification appointments can be at our office in Manhattan, via Telemed, or at your home with one of our RNs or Physicians.

Why do I need to submit proof?

We ask for your basic contact information, as well as what condition(s) qualify you in accordance with the Compassionate Care Act.  
When setting up your appointment, you will fill out a health information form as well as upload your supporting documents. 
This ensures accuracy and compliance with New York state laws.
If you need help answering questions, uploading documents, or any other assistance our patient liason is available to guide you.

How much does a certificate cost?

Accepted Answer

Our most affordable option is $179 for our Expedited Medical Certificate. This is a good fit for most people who plan to self direct their care. You will speak with our RN and once approved, your certificate is processed by one of our Physicians.

Individuals with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Psychiatric Disorders, Substance Use Disorder, or those with complex conditions require a full consultation with one of our Physicians.

Is it safe to upload my documents online?

Absolutely! We use a HIPPA-compliant and encrypted upload method that is verified as safe and secure. Your privacy and protection are always our number one priority.

Question 6

What is the difference between a recreational dispensary and a medical dispensary?

Accepted Answer

Recreational dispensaries are geared more towards recreational users - so they will have more products that are significantly higher in THC and staff that is not medically trained to address a medically related question. Also, there is less oversight over the products they sell.

A medical dispensary will have more balanced ratios for their products, a pharmacist on staff to handle any medical questions you may have, and strictly regulated products (tested at the Wadsworth Laboratory - a lab regulated by New York State's Department of Health).

Can you renew my certificate if I am not a current patient?

Yes! We can recertify you if you are coming from a different provider.  Our renewal appointments are $175.

Certificates must be renewed annually - if not, they expire and are no longer valid (preventing patients from purchasing products from a medical dispensary).
