New York State passed The Marihuana Regulation & Taxation Act (M.R.T.A.) on March 31, 2021, which includes expanding allowable medical conditions not previously listed. We can now certify patients for the medical use of cannabis for any condition based on the practitioner’s clinical discretion. You must provide adequate documentation and have an appointment with a licensed physician to be certified for the New York medical cannabis program.
